Your tasks
Do you want to be at the forefront of revolutionizing the healthcare market in Switzerland? Will you drive the innovation of our digital healthcare platform hand in hand with a strong team?
Then we are looking for you!
As an experienced and motivated Data Engineer, you will work on further expanding our data assets and, in your role, will be responsible for tasks including:
- Consolidation, pipelines: You consolidate heterogeneous data sources and app tracking data, build robust, automated data pipelines (ingestion, transformation, orchestration) for a reliable data supply, and operate them on a scalable analytics/data platform.
- AI, Data Architecture: You create a reliable data foundation for use cases such as AI applications, personalization and recommendations, so that our in-app AI assistant becomes smarter and we can make data available as a self-service for the entire team.
- Data quality, monitoring, reporting: You establish standards and processes for data quality (tests, validation rules), observability/monitoring (pipeline health, SLAs, alerts) and a reliable reporting setup, and ensure stable operation.
- Tracking & Product Collaboration: You will work closely with engineering and product development to define, implement and continuously improve tracking requirements – ensuring that product decisions are based on reliable data.
- Journey Analyses & Insights: You will further develop the reporting from KPI dashboards to journey/funnel-based analyses (cohorts, retention, conversion, drop-offs) and derive concrete optimization insights and recommendations for action from them.
- Insight generation & stakeholder communication: You answer business and product questions with appropriate methods (descriptive analyses, segmentation, hypotheses/experiments, possibly causal approaches) and present findings to various stakeholders (product, engineering, business, management) in a target-group-oriented manner.
Your profile
What we expect from you:
- You have a master's degree in data science, computer science, natural sciences, (industrial) engineering, economics or a comparable field.
- You bring several years of hands-on professional experience (ideally 5+ years) in a data/analytics engineering or similar role – from data preparation to insights for product and business decisions, as well as data/AI use cases such as personalization or recommendation, preferably on an online platform.
- You have in-depth experience in building and operating robust data pipelines in the cloud (GCP is an advantage) including orchestration, modeling (DWH/Lakehouse), data quality, monitoring/alerting and reporting layers.
- You are familiar with app/web tracking and confidently work on journey/funnel-based analyses, cohorts and experiments, and have experience in data preparation for and insights from conversational interfaces.
- You are a highly confident programmer specializing in data processing and analysis, proficient in common programming languages (SQL, Python, etc.), and have hands-on experience with at least one tool (e.g., dbt, dataform, Kestra, Airbyte). Knowledge of common BI tools (e.g., Looker/Power BI/Tableau) is advantageous.
- You communicate clearly with different stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Business), translate questions into analyses and impress with a pragmatic, quality-oriented approach.
- You work precisely, have a structured and analytical way of working, know how to help yourself and find ways to independently ensure the quality of your work.
