As the largest center for paediatrics and pediatric surgery in Switzerland, the Children's Hospital Zurich, with around 2,500 employees, provides sophisticated services in inpatient acute medicine, in emergencies, in rehabilitation and in the outpatient area. The Zurich Children's Hospital is unique because it is the only hospital in Switzerland that is exclusively geared towards the needs of children and young people with a university mandate.
