  • Your tasks will include, among other things, the development and implementation of a comprehensive data strategy in line with the company's strategic goals. Furthermore, the development and definition of data management standards, SOPs and 'best practice guidelines' to ensure data quality, data integrity and data security throughout the company, as well as the identification of data requirements, data sources and data integration processes to support business processes.
  • You will work with the Governance Lead on data governance guidelines, standards and processes to ensure data consistency, compliance and data availability. With the CISO and DPO you will work on questions regarding data protection, data encryption, data anonymization and techniques to ensure these within the framework of regulatory requirements and best practice.
  • You take part in training measures and independently keep yourself up to date in your specialist area. Guidelines and instructions are written by you and published in an appropriate manner.

Your experience

  • We require a completed computer science degree or equivalent training/studies in a related field (master's would be an advantage) for this demanding field of activity. They also have knowledge in the areas of data storage and processing and data protection. You have strong analytical thinking and the ability to capture complex data sets and identify trends, patterns and anomalies.
  • You are a motivated, team player and committed personality. When dealing with users, you maintain a supportive style. You have a pragmatic way of thinking and acting, are resilient and feel comfortable in an agile team with your flexibility and adaptability. Your language skills in spoken and written German and English (level B2) complete your profile.

Your perspectives

  • You have the chance to work at the Lucerne Cantonal Hospital, which implemented the first launch of Epic's healthcare platform in German-speaking countries. You are invited to actively shape the further digitalization process.
  • You can expect entrepreneurial team spirit, an agile working environment, a modern understanding of leadership and an open corporate culture.
  • Our systems offer the tools for well-founded decisions on clinical and strategic issues at the largest central hospital in Switzerland, where you can benefit from an internationally networked Epic community.
