MAIN MISSIONS

The General Directorate of Health (DGS) works to ensure that everyone in Vaud can access an efficient health system, promoting prevention and guaranteeing optimal care. If you would like to join us in an exciting field, with a dynamic work environment favoring autonomy and flexibility in the organization of your work, then this announcement is for you.
In your capacity as Data analyst within the Quality and Systems Center (CQS), your mission is to design and implement methods for managing and regularly updating data in the information platform of the Vaud health system. Infosan and provide users with all the necessary documentation.
As part of your role, you take stock of the situation, analyze information needs (formats to transmit, frequency, target audience) and translate them into computer language. You build an architecture for presenting information and program it autonomously as well as propose relevant indicators to develop the platform.
In addition, you ensure routine data processing, their plausibility, exploitation and publication in the Infosan platform (SAS tools), and the continuity of their updating.
You integrate new indicators into the Infosan platform and participate in the Quality assurance work of the Infosan/GEOSAN project manager (project aimed at developing a geospatial and population health analysis tool).
Also, you design and implement statistical and data analysis tools in compliance with technical standards (SAS and Tableau tools).
Your role as referent leads you to ensure that business users benefit from the necessary information. To do this, you document the processes put in place and organize coordination sessions to facilitate the acceptance and integration of processes and documents.

DESIRED PROFILE

Holder of a Master's degree in Management IT, economics or title deemed equivalent.
Additional training in project management, health economics and policy or training in public health, an asset.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the processing, plausibility and exploitation of data, ideally in the field of health or public administration.
Mastery of computer processing and data visualization tools (SAS/SQL, R and/or Python; Tableau).
Knowledge of the Swiss health system.
Analysis and synthesis skills, global vision and being proactive.
Good organizational skills, self-control and stress management.
Ability to work independently and in a team, spirit of mutual assistance and collaboration.
Interest in learning new computer languages ​​and developments.
