Data Engineering / Working Student (m/w/d)

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.

This is what you can do:

• Maintenance and improvement of Python packages
• Write CI/CD (unit) tests for laboratory devices
• Development of new functionalities
• Writing documentation (code, API)
• Define and assemble test set-ups with (measurement) hardware in the RF lab
• Troubleshooting and problem solving for our existing python packages

What you bring with you:

• Ongoing studies in computer science, information systems or related field
• Hand-on experience with Python, CI/CD tool chains, git
• High affinity for technologies, data and computer engineering, software
• Structured, goal-oriented and reliable way of working
• Ability to work independently and flexibly
• Ability to communicate and work in a team
• Previous experience with laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, power supply, etc.) ist a plus
• Profiency in English (oral/written, any other language is a plus
