Job Description
We are looking for an intern for the Machine Learning department, starting in November / December 2023. The position is based in Basel (Switzerland) in an English speaking environment.
Axom provides 2 solutions based on machine learning: counting and visual inspection stations, to the pharmaceutical and animal health industries to provide patients with the right drugs without defects. Counting station is already distributed to leading pharmaceutical companies providing precise reconciliation in their production lines. Visual Inspection Station is under R&D and it's used to detect particles suspended in injectable medications and to identify other production defects.
The daily routine will be to:
- Create a datasets with photoshoots, labelling and image augmentations
- Launch trainings, configure models and familiarise yourself with the current process
- Identify potential improvements to data collection, training or analysis of the models
We are a start-up and we expect people to be autonomous and to take initiatives. Our interns take responsibility for their project and contribute their own ideas. We are very open to new ideas in the team, and there are no limits in testing new things!
The salary is 1500 CHF per month.
