Lombard Odier Investment Managers (“LOIM”) is the asset management business of the Lombard Odier Group. In order to strengthen our technology team, we are looking for a:
Machine Learning Ops Engineer – Internship
(6-9 months)
About the role
You will join a global business of more than 120 investment professionals and a network of 13 offices across Europe, Asia and North America. Our technology team works directly and closely with the Business. Our IT ecosystem is based on state-of-the-art tools from leading financial software providers. In addition to this, we develop our own solutions using agile development and DevOps techniques. You will report to the head of IT development based in Geneva and contribute to our AI/ML initiatives.
How will you make an impact at LOIM
In this role, your main responsibilities will include the following :
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists and AI Specialists from multiple business units.
  • Assist the team in designing and implementing a unified research platform for AI.
  • Optimize and streamline AI models.
  • Analyze and specify the infrastructure requirements.
The skills you will demonstrate
  • University degree in computer science, finance or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with Python or other scripting languages.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, containerization and distributed computing a plus.
  • Familiarity with MLOps/DevOps tools and techniques a plus.
  • Experience with Linux and Shell scripting a plus.
  • Exposure to the Finance industry through internships or academic classes a plus.
