Your tasks
- You are responsible for data protection and data governance within the security team.
- In collaboration with the legal, risk and IT teams, you are responsible for maintaining and continually improving the data protection and data governance framework in accordance with the revised data protection law and the FINMA requirements (in particular RS 2023/01).
- You are responsible for the information process, data protection impact assessments, the definition and maintenance of documents and guidelines within the framework, as well as third-party management for DSG and FINMA-relevant activities.
- You will be involved in supplementing the security awareness measures with additional data protection points, in access management tasks, in access rights controls and, if necessary, also take on the representation of your responsible colleagues.
- You are responsible for second-level controls in the area of data protection and data governance.
Requirements
You have a university degree or comparable qualifications in law, business administration or information systems and have 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role in a comparable industry. You also have a very good knowledge of data protection legislation and the principles of data governance. Preferably you have basic knowledge of how a bank works and FINMA requirements. You have very good analytical and communication skills, which enable you to work successfully with the various stakeholders. You work conscientiously, structured, carefully and independently. Your excellent language skills in English and German complete your profile.
