Imaris is a world leading software for visualization and analysis of 3D and 4D microscopic images. Imaris enables biologists to visualize large images at interactive frame rates and it provides tools to easily segment data using robust image processing algorithms and to analyse data using interactive classification and statistics tools. Our vision is to provide easy to use image analysis methods that “just work” in the hands of the biologist. We are hiring for an additional Software Engineer to join the Imaris Software Team located in Belfast, Zurich, and Germany. You will program in C++ to build future versions of our software and be interested in data analysis, modelling, and finding simple solutions to complex problems

This permanent position can be based in Belfast, Zurich or Germany working on a hybrid basis. We are ideally hiring on a full-time basis but will also consider part time (minimum 0.8FTE).
You should have:
Master's degree in computer science, engineering, physics, or mathematics or equivalent qualification
3 years’ relevant experience which includes:
Using C++, C# or Java
Object orientated design
Customer/requirements capture
Good knowledge in one of the following topics: mathematical modelling, computer vision, image analysis, computer graphics
