In a dynamic and well-positioned team, you and your colleagues will develop guidelines and methods for credit risk optimization for all credit card products and for the merchant business. This includes the use of statistical tools to monitor the quality of portfolios and regular risk reporting. With your analyses, you make a significant contribution to optimizing our business risk strategy.


  • Your area of ​​responsibility will include the development, expansion and optimization of rules in the application review, limit management and authorization area.
  • You use statistical credit forecast models to identify changes in the market, customer behavior or the composition of portfolios at an early stage and to react proactively accordingly.
  • You accurately define and carefully monitor the specified routines in the credit risk area.
  • You ensure that the defined routines are applied sustainably and are motivated and available as a competent contact person.
  • You will also continue to develop the Swisscard Analytics toolset and promote process optimization using machine learning models.
  • You interact skillfully with a wide range of employees within the company and explain the credit guidelines to them in a logical, precise and simple manner.
  • As a specialist, you support important project plans in an agile environment, bring the credit aspects into interdisciplinary project teams and move easily in the area of ​​tension between risk requirements and innovation ideas.


  • Ideally, you already have 2-3 years of professional experience in a comparable position in the financial services environment, in which your business or economics studies (ETH, university, technical college or similar) with a specialization in mathematics/statistics support you significantly.
  • You have very good knowledge of R and PowerBI.
  • Experience with Python and common ML libraries like sklearn are an advantage.
  • You have very good oral and written German and English skills.
