Team Lead, Computer Vision & AI (m/f/x)

What's the role?

You lead our multi-disciplinary Computer Vision & AI team in Corporate Research & Technology. You shape the mid-to long-term innovation roadmap, and drive projects definition and execution. What does the role involve?

The Computer Vision & AI team is responsible to develop proof-of-concepts for new products and services for the organization. The team covers all areas of expertise needed to automate and digitize construction industry: Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Sensor Fusion algorithms, and IoT Technologies.
Together with your team, you identify innovation opportunities and you craft and implement a technology roadmap. You are confident managing a team while setting budgets, timelines, and operational targets for running R&D projects.
Your interpersonal skills allow you to successfully collaborate and align with the different Business Units in the organization. You develop and nurture a strong external network with Academia and Industry to support R&D collaborations. You coach your team members to support their development and individual growth within the organization.

What you need is:

• MSc Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics or similar. PhD preferred
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Industry/Academia, with demonstrated growth in product development and/or engineering research. Prior direct line management experience preferred
• Technical expertise in several of: Computer Vision, Machine Learning, SLAM algorithms, Sensor Fusion, IoT Technologies
• Excellent project management skills and proven expertise with modern project management frameworks and tools (Agile, Jira, etc.)
• Good business acumen and strategic mindset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in spoken and written English. Comfortable with initiating and nurturing new connections in a matrix organization
• Collaborative mindset, capable to coach, motivate and lead by example
