Senior software engineer ( 80% - 100%)
The Data Warehouse Services management unit develops and operates platforms and tools used throughout the bank to create statistics and analyses. Users also use these in end-user development. This position is of central importance for the further development of the data and analysis platforms. The place of work is in a prime location in Zurich.
Your contribution:
- Organization and planning of the service level management of the team data warehouse services. Management or support of the working groups and committees;
- Management and leadership of projects to optimize and improve the existing portfolio of applications, platforms and tools (to create statistics and analyzes in end-user development);
- Participation in the conception of projects to expand the portfolio. Participation in requirements planning, project proposals and budgeting;
- Advice and support for specialists and users. Development and maintenance of active relationships with internal specialist departments and external partners;
- Participation in the development of the team. Analysis and optimization of the processes. Coaching and mentoring of employees to further develop their skills and competencies.
Your knowledge and experience:
- Ability to recognize different interests and further develop bank-wide commonalities;
- Ability to understand and explain complex issues at multiple levels of abstraction;
- High sense of responsibility, commitment and a proven ability to move at different hierarchical levels;
- Interest and experience in requirements engineering and in the assessment of projects with cost/benefit considerations;
- Solid methodological foundations in the areas of project management, software technology and/or data science;
- Experience in managing IT projects and designing and developing applications for data analysis and/or data warehousing;
- Willingness to further educate yourself in these areas and to pass on your own know-how.
