Your field of responsibility

You have the chance to join our Chief Risk Officer division to assist the CRO Risk Data Management team to deliver on global and regional objectives and to drive data quality and assurance for compliance with BCBS 239 regulations

Key elements of the role will include:

  • Execution of quarterly BAU reconciliations across multiple systems to ensure data completeness and accuracy for Risk, Finance and regulatory reporting.
  • Performing root cause analyses, exceptions monitoring and facilitate remediation of identified reconciliation breaks and data quality issues
  • Working closely with IT partners to drive continuous enhancements and automation
  • Communication of reconciliation results in governance forums with various stakeholders

Additionally in this role, you will also be exposed to:

  • Building a robust control environment and drive transparency of data quality issues and key performance metrics for senior management
  • Providing support for regulatory initiatives and respond to adhoc stakeholder queries/ requests
  • Understanding of Credit Risk measures and data quality control frameworks

Your skills and experience

You have a completed your higher education in Banking & Finance or in a related field, combined with professional experience in a Business Analyst role. Additionally, you bring the following requirements:

  • In-depth ability to independently gather, analyze and draw conclusions from large data volumes with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent IT understanding to carry out systems/ data analyses and the ability to use tools effectively including:
    • Database management and query tools (e.g. SQL, SAS, Python, R etc.)
    • Strong MS Office skills particularly focusing on MS Excel, Access and Powerpoint
  • Ability to articulate and present to senior management and regional stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of financial products and asset classes
  • Professional written and verbal English language skills
  • Exposure to Credit Risk concepts and methodologies will be a bonus
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
