Your field of responsibility

Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, owning and maintaining data-driven solutions and models for Compliance stakeholders in the surveillance area. You will work as part of a distributed team of data scientists and data engineers, working with interesting and sensitive data, ensuring data security needs are met. You will directly interact with the Compliance officers to refine how the team can provide the best technical solution for the problem at hand.

We are the Data and Digital Labs, part of the Compliance department. Our purpose is to empower people and deliver value-driven data and digital solutions that are intuitive, transformative, and productive to manage Compliance risks effectively. Your skills and experience
  • MSc or PhD in computer science, data science, data security or another STEM field
  • Demonstrable data-centered technical skills in data analytics, development, data processing and/or machine learning
  • Several years of experience working with big data, ideally using Python and Spark on a distributed cloud platform, additional relevant development experience (e.g. data visualization) considered a plus
  • Proficiency with modern source control and CI/CD best practices
  • Exceptional critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, ability to explain things clearly to different audiences
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Experience in finance and/or compliance helpful but not a must
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
