Debris flows and avalanches threaten transport routes, rock faces or glaciers are set in motion: we develop, install and operate monitoring systems for natural hazards for the safety of people and infrastructure worldwide.

Junior DevOps Engineer (Python) (w/m/d)
That speaks to you
- You are fascinated by the operation of monitoring systems for natural hazards. As part of the operations team, you are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our stations
- Supports project-specific adjustments to existing software modules, which are responsible for the analysis and transmission of measurement data from various sensors and cameras and run directly on site at the stations
- As part of a small, uncomplicated team, you have plenty of room for initiative
- In addition to the Python station software, you are also interested in the hardware components of a system and its operation under extreme environmental conditions and remote locations such as in high mountains
- Modern tools such as Gitlab CI/CD, Docker, Google Cloud Platform and Sentry are used for DevOps and deployment

- You have completed an apprenticeship or degree in the field of computer science or technician HF.
- You have already gained some experience with Python
- The sometimes hectic environment in ensuring the smooth operation of systems motivates you and you are willing to support the operation as an on-call service
- You are willing to familiarize yourself with new technologies and discuss in a solution-oriented manner
- You are fascinated by the shared role of ensuring the operation of our systems on the one hand and further developing the station software on the other
