Data Scientist (m/w/d) Machine Learning Operations

As a data scientist (m/f/d) with a focus on machine learning operations, you are responsible for developing specifications for the provision and determination of data for logical data models and structures. You develop data models and control the model implementations and model operations in cooperation with the business and the team of data scientists. In particular, they develop guidelines and procedures for the productization of machine learning methods and implement them together with various teams (in the cloud).

• You will develop evaluation and control tools for different data sources to provide the required data sets
• You perform data analysis to integrate results from analyzes into existing solutions and business processes
• You determine trends, patterns, prediction models
• You create cost cases and techno-economic evaluations
• You bear E2E responsibility for strategically aligned data science projects from the requirements analysis and consulting to the productive implementation
• You develop decision proposals and recommendations for action and present and discuss the results at management level
• You manage and analyze data, customer insights, voice analytics and a variety of other customer/technical data to derive structural measures
• You identify potential for improvement along customer journeys, service and product portfolios as well as across touchpoints and manage product and process optimization in cross-functional cooperation
• You take over the technical management of data projects to optimize processes, lead strategic discussions at C-level, bring about committee decisions

You have a university degree or a completed apprenticeship. You also have professional experience in the field of data analytics and machine learning. Furthermore, you are characterized by detailed company-specific knowledge or exceptional special knowledge and skills:

• You have a strong understanding of technology in the areas of data science, machine learning and cloudification
• You have knowledge of the use of ML methods and can derive the necessary methodical and technological requirements in order to provide optimal working environments
• You have many years of in-depth experience in project management for the production of data-driven products/functionalities, preferably in the cloud environment
• You are familiar with digital solutions, products and business models, have accompanied companies in the digital transformation and have extensive experience in translating customer problems into technical requirements and implementing them
• You have in-depth professional experience in the management of cross-functional projects, including strategic/conceptual preparation, as well as fluent written and spoken German and English (at a top management presentation level)
