DENSO ADAS Engineering Services GmbH, as a part of DENSO Mobility, is a R&D company with activities in developing the next generation of 3D digital perception based mainly on computer vision, radar and sonar technology for future driving and safety functions. As a full subsidiary of the DENSO Corporation, the world-wide second largest tier-one automotive supplier, we combine the strength of a globally operating cooperation with the agility and familiar atmosphere of a small business. To strengthen our team of about 30 highly skilled engineers in Lindau (Germany) we are looking to hire a motivated, engaged and experienced:
- Algorithm design and implementation ensuring real time performance
- Problem/Product analysis and requirements definition
- Test and validation of developed algorithms
- Maintain and extend existing software
- Guide and improve the software development process
- Live tests on demo vehicle
- Masters degree or similar degree in Computer Science, Robotics, AI, Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field
- Already working experience in Automotive: AD & ADAS / Robotics / ML
- Experience with fundamental computer vision algorithms and approaches such as Image processing, Machine learning, Multi-view geometry / 3D reconstruction
- Familiar with at least one of the following fields: SLAM, Localization, Visual Odometry, 3D reconstruction, 3D Mapping or Deep Learning
- Proficiency in software development and experience in developing algorithms for autonomous and/or real-time systems
- Experience with software development for real-time systems
- Excellent proficiency in software development, C/C++ and Python programming
- Experience with OpenCV, PCL and other CV libraries
- Comfortable working on Linux and Windows systems for cross platform development
- Experience with Git, Jira, CMake, Doxygen, Continuous Integration, Docker
- Experience with developing software for ROS (Robot Operating System) – Highly desirable
- Experience with parallelization tasks (e.g. using vector processing, multi-threading, OpenCL, CUDA etc.) – Highly desirable
- Fluent language skills in English language are required
