At MaxWell Biosystems, we develop advanced instrumentation for neuroscience and life sciences applications. Our instruments consist of custom-designed CMOS-based sensor devices, a data acquisition system with FPGAs and our software suite MaxLab Live. The internship project offers a broad variety of potential tasks, including work on the embedded software running on the data acquisition systems, GUI frontend or test and automation setups. For these activities we are seeking a highly motivated software engineer to implement and work on some of these challenging tasks.

Your Profile

  • Studies in computer science, electrical engineering or related field
  • Experience with Linux and Python
  • Experience with C++ is a plus
  • Experience with embedded development is a plus
  • Enjoy working in an interdisciplinary and international team
  • Enjoy pushing technology to its limits
