NLP Machine Learning Data Scientist (w/m/d)

You do that with us

Together with your team, you develop data-supported products for insurance areas such as claims or sales. You use state-of-the-art machine learning and deep learning methods. Together with the internal business stakeholders from different areas you will identify and assess the feasibility of AI and ML use cases.
You will work in an interdisciplinary scrum team consisting of other data scientists, software engineers and business analysts. The team is responsible for data acquisition and for the development, production and operation of ML models (MLOps). Your team delivers direct added value for the business with their ML models.
You are an active member of our internal data science community of around 20 data scientists and bring know-how about natural language processing, best practices, frameworks and the latest developments to our field.

You bring that with you

• Completed master's degree in computer science, statistics, physics or mathematics, preferably with NLP specialization
• 3-4 years of practical work experience in the field of data science
• Hands-on experience with Deep Learning, Transfer Learning and Large Language Models
• Very good programming skills in Python, working with GPUs and Git
• Experience with cloud tools and frameworks is an advantage
• Team-oriented personality, openness to new ideas and a great enthusiasm for data and pleasure in winning others over to this topic and sharing know-how
• Fluent knowledge of German, knowledge of English and French an advantage
