We are looking for our customer a DevOps Cloud Engineer 80-100% in ZH / BE with Home Office
Tasks
- Build and maintain the platform for future applications based on AWS public cloud services
- Build and optimize the DevOps platform to enable developers and engineers to be as productive as possible
- Responsible for the interaction of the overall system of our technically versatile product: A complex system of multiple backends, mobile apps, websites and connections to financial institutions and retailers
- Working closely with developers, SREs and other DevOps Engineers in a DevOps team and across teams
- Responsible for the full application lifecycle, from creating the infrastructure-as-code, developing the application code, building pipelines all the way to production and improving the system based on collected metrics
- Perform conceptual and development work
Requirements
- Degree in computer science (Bachelor or Master) with a focus on software engineering or a comparable education
- Several years practical and project experience in the field of software engineering in a professional and technically complex environment
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Terraform and Linux and of development in Java, Spring & Python
- Strong experience with public cloud provider AWS
- Experience in working with CI/CD and GitOps tools (GitLab, ArgoCD, etc)
- Hands-on experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps
Languages
Very good English language skills (verbal and written), German is a plus
