The following challenges await you:
- As an intern in our business segment "Heraeus Precious Metals" (precious metal trading & recycling) you will make a valuable contribution in the area of "Data Science & Predictive Analytics".
- You will work independently on tasks in the field of data science and thus, contribute to optimizing business processes.
- The planning and execution of statistical analyses of business-relevant data is also one of your tasks.
- In addition, you will be involved in strategic, tactical, and operational issues in the raw materials business and their visualization.
- You will assume responsibility in a team and actively participate in operative work.
Your profile:
- Advanced studies in data science/data analytics or natural sciences (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics, physics)
- English proficiency should be business fluent
- Knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Python / SQL / VBA
- Initial experience with data processing and cleansing as well as data analysis programs, databases and dashboards
- Enthusiasm for the field of data analysis and machine learning
- Analytical skills and able to work successfully both independently and as part of a team
- Valid certificate of study for the entire period of employment
