Commercial Analytics (Senior) Data Scientist

Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death. Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe and Israel. Commercial Analytics (Senior) Data Scientist

As Data Scientist for Commercial Analytics, you will be part of our Commercial Analytics Team and become instrumental in sharing best practices while supporting operations through training, data engineering and the generation of analytics and insights for our commercial team. You will act as a key point of contact for commercial analytics and data science topics, develop a deep knowledge of local commercial needs, and lead the relationship with the extended regional commercial teams.

Your responsibilities:

• Establishing of deep relationships with key commercial stakeholders and become a key point of contact for data science and commercial analytics, while developing deep knowledge of the local commercial needs and regulatory environment.
• You collaborate closely with clinical teams and medical experts on transforming clinical problems into AI problems while assessing feasibility and risks, designing data collection procedures, performing quality control and articulating results to key stakeholders.
• You work with and support the larger data analytics needs of the group including regression, prediction, classification, NLP, visualization and reporting.
• You develop insights on customer experience using CRM data and advanced analytics.
• You collaborate with internal data science and CRM teams to set up the data infrastructure for advanced modeling and analytics as well as supporting business intelligence needs.
• When needed you provide ad hoc reporting for customer management and operations.
• You drive business performance through thoughtful analysis of CRM data in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts
• You furthermore ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures as well as applicable laws such as HIPAA or GDPR

Your profile:

• You bring an educational background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science or a related quantitative discipline
• Experience in analytics, knowledge of R and python as well as experience with statistics, data manipulation, regression and classification and exposure to natural language processing (NLP)
• Exceptional collaborative skills while being able to operate in an international matrix environment in a global, English speaking corporation.
• Experience in the healthcare, life sciences or pharma industry is beneficial.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% if required.
