Tasks
We are looking for an experienced macOS Software Engineer to help us deliver Nimagna’s next-gen video processing and collaboration solution on macOS. Our product is at the intersection of computer vision, video processing, computer graphics and AI.
You will contribute to our product development, technical innovation and ground-breaking real-time algorithms that go way beyond today’s solutions and that will change the way we collaborate remotely. While the company is based in Switzerland this role is a fully remote work position.

You will contribute to our product development, technical innovation and ground-breaking real-time algorithms that go way beyond today’s solutions and that will change the way we collaborate remotely. While the company is based in Switzerland this role is a fully remote work position.
What You’ll Do
- You will be responsible for the delivery of our application on the macOS operating system.
- You will focus on building a front end of the macOS solution and implement macOS-specific solutions of the platform-dependent components of our solution.
- You will implement, test, and deliver new features within a cross-functional agile and distributed team – Focused, independent but collaborative work is what you crave!
- You will build a state-of-the-art real-time video processing system – Your experience with writing high-performance, reliable, and sustainable software is your personal mission!
- You will take responsibility and ownership in more than just development – You are not afraid to get your hands dirty!

- Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, with strong software engineering components.
- Excellent experience with front-end and platform-specific development on macOS.
- Experience with XCode, C++, Objective-C, and Swift.
- Excellency in software development, combined with experience and a solid foundation in performance-focused software engineering.
- You extensive experience in implementing macOS-specific solutions for platform-specific I/O challenges, i.e. video/camera input, efficient rendering solutions, or virtual hardware simulations.
- As a master of CMake in a Windows/macOS cross-platform environment, you can efficiently cross-platform challenges.
- Strong interpersonal skills, entrepreneurially minded, flexible and very strong team player.
