Senior Software Engineer

You will develop automated IVD and life science systems that process and analyze biological samples. You will work closely with our customers and colleagues from the areas of systems engineering, mechanical and electronic development in interdisciplinary teams.

Your task

  • Development of software for embedded systems in an interdisciplinary environment
  • Implementation of customer needs in software specifications
  • Development of architectural concepts for complex mechatronic systems
  • Implementation, verification and maintenance of software systems
  • Management of software projects

your qualifications

  • Completed studies in electrical engineering / information technology (ETH, FH)
  • At least 6 years of experience in the field of software development for embedded systems
  • Broad experience in software development in C++, C#, Embedded Linux, Linux and Windows as a development environment
  • Knowledge of requirements tools (Polarion), architecture (UML), continuous integration environments (GitLab), Scrum / Project tracking (Atlassian JIRA), GoogleTest and VisualCode as IDE
  • Experience in the field of web technologies, in particular CSS, HTML5, JS/TS, WebSocket, VueJS Composition API and Swagger/OpenAPI
  • Application experience of the CE directives LVD, IVDD and EMCD
  • Fluent German and English skills
