The new central team "MDM & Support" manages and manages all master data in the areas of procurement, finance, cash register data and operations and provides 1st level support for problems in the main and subsystems that can be traced back to master data. Head of Master Data Management & Support 100% (m/w/d)
your job
- Management and development of 5 employees
- Management of maintenance, management, verification and correction of master data in the areas;
- Material master data and prices in the merchandise management system (SAP)
- Items for sale at the cash registers (TCPOS) including setting up individual cash register interfaces
- Supervision and maintenance of the new VDM system (supplier master data)
- Maintenance of SAP HANA master data (e.g. business partner data)
- Compliance with data integrity and security policies
- Management of 1st level support in German and French via telephone and/or remote access for the business applications (ERP system and MS Office) and the POS system
- Participated in forums with the international Data team to ensure best practices are applied, improved and documented
- Cooperation with downstream support units for more complex problems and triage of the fault reports
- Collaborate with functional and technical team members and the international data team to support data preparation for the data migration process
- Testing scripts related to data creation and updating
- Supporting the business team in pre-load and post-load validation of data migrated from legacy source system to target system (S/4HANA).
your profile
- Business studies (FH/Uni) or commercial or technical basic training with several years of professional experience in the field of data management
- Several years of relevant professional and managerial experience
- SAP knowledge (S/4 and ECC) and very good MS Office skills
- Good verbal and written skills in German, English and French
- Project experience an advantage
- A high degree of initiative and flexibility paired with a quick comprehension and a solution-oriented, efficient way of working
