smiti AG in Horgen specializes in hiring and placing specialists in the areas of IT, HR, sales, finance, marketing and merchandise.
We are looking for a Data Engineer for our customer in the Zurich and Chur area
Your tasks
- Technical support of the DWH platform over the entire lifecycle
- Expansion of Enterprise Data Warehouse including data modelling
- Effort estimation, implementation and coordination of new customer requirements
- Design and development of new DWH and Big Data Services in the team and with the customers
- Consulting and design of data architectures
- Close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders from the areas of business and IT
Profile
- Studies in computer science, business informatics or apprenticeship with appropriate further training (HF or FH)
- Experience in design, implementation and operation of a data warehouse (at least 3 years)
- Good knowledge of SQL queries, ETL and databases, ideally experience with Microsoft SQL Server DB, SSIS and/or Oracle DB
- Experience in data modeling and data architectures
- Personal responsibility, ability to work in a team, high quality awareness and pronounced customer orientation
