Job Description

We are full-stack GeoNinjas and offer personalized open source solutions in the field of geodata for national and international customers.

We are looking for you as a new member of our team.

what you move

As an innovative developer, you will work in a diverse environment. You help to create the basis for a stable, sustainable and efficient infrastructure.

Above all in the areas of environment, mobility and spatial planning. You are part of an agile and self-organized team and are responsible for the successful implementation (end-to-end) and stable operation of your own services and applications (DevOps). With a lot of initiative and creativity you help to find extraordinary solutions for our customers. Your tasks include:

  • Responsibility for DevOps (Linux, Docker, Git, PostgreSQL)
  • Consulting and implementation of Docker-based solutions including compose, swarm etc. internally in the company and externally at the customer
  • Co-development of interactive web applications backend (Django, Flask, PostgreSQL) to frontend (JS, Python) in the Webgis area, among others

What makes you

  • Independent work (we work remotely)
  • Motivation, curiosity and the will to constantly develop yourself
  • Quick comprehension, flexibility, perseverance and a flair for simple solutions
  • Open, resilient and uncomplicated personality with a confident demeanor
  • Enjoy dealing with customers
  • Very good knowledge of German
  • Good to very good knowledge of French and English is an advantage
  • Bachelor IT FH or university
  • Three years of professional experience in DevOps
  • Experience with PostGIS and QGIS an advantage

What's waiting for you

We are a dedicated, unconventional and helpful small team of open source experts.

Are you an early riser or late riser? We do not care. You decide where and when you work. You can also celebrate public holidays whenever you want. Maybe you prefer to work at Christmas than on a hot summer day during the week? Then do it! A high degree of flexibility in terms of work location and working hours is a matter of course for us.

So if terms like microservices, infrastructure as code and cloud-native development are not just “hype” for you but a central part of modern software development, then you’ve come to the right place!
