Your programme

This is a unique 24-month experience where we offer you a permanent position along with a specific programme with rotations in different teams to build your expertise and professional skills.
Based on a permanent contract, our graduate programme includes on- and off-the-job components, places the emphasis on teamwork but will also explore your skills set, further your development and set specific objectives.
Technology & Operations (Tech&Ops) design and integrate software applications ranging from portfolio management systems and trading platforms to banking and corporate solutions. The division is responsible for some of the Group’s key innovations while sustaining business operations and developing custodian and fund administration services.
The Data Integration Platorms team is part of the Cloud Oriented Platform Services unit. We are responsible for developing and maintaining system integrations and components, including but not limited to; application to application integrations, services, internal and external API, file transfer, ETL and SQL queries. We design the integration infrastructure, set standards, and work closely with the Tech&Ops, PAM and PWM teams who implement the various integration strategies and components. We ensure high quality and optimum performance of data integration systems in order to meet business solutions.

Your role

As a Graduate – Cloud Data Engineer, you will be working with a ride range of experts within the firm and you will be actively involved in the activities of the Cloud Oriented Platforms Services unit. As a Cloud enabler, your role will be to support the development of cloud solutions within the bank and you will draw on your energy and motivation to develop skills to design, build, operate and manage Cloud Data Integration, this will entail:
  • Research, design, build, optimize and maintain reliable, efficient and accessible data systems, data pipelines, and/or models.
  • Support, with guidance, the analytic and/or operational use of data.
  • Align closely with Enterprise partners in data architecture, governance, infrastructure, and security to apply standards and optimize production environments and practices.
  • Collaborate with business owners to optimize data collection, storage and usage to maximize the value of information within supported systems.
  • Translate business needs into data architecture solutions, designing and implementing in production environments within supported data systems.
  • Implement data orchestration pipelines, data sourcing, cleansing, augmentation and quality control processes within supported data systems.
  • Deploy applications to production in partnership with business units.
  • Develop, test and integrate new data features and functionality as defined by the product owners and business teams
  • Performing the programming tasks expected of an Infrastructure Engineer: devops, scripting, IaC, CI/CD, Terraform, etc.
The journey will start with a Cloud and middleware experience within the Cloud Oriented Platform Services unit. You will develop DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, Cloud AWS knowledge. In the second rotation, you will collaborate with the Data distribution team. The journey will continue by working closely with clients at PAM Tech or PAA Tech. The last mission will be within the Big Data team and will be developed around data analysis.

Your profile

  • Recent graduate with a degree in Information Systems from a reputable university with Data Science background.
  • Engineering and programming skills using different languages.
  • Valuable experience: AWS services, Snowflake, Git and CICD pipelines, Relational database design, Microservices / Containers (Docker, Kubernetes), Informatica or other ETL.
  • Strong and demonstrated personal interest in IT infrastructures, architectures, integration, on-premise and cloud technologies.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and passion.
  • Strong oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong team player. Ability to handle multiple and complex tasks, work under time constraints, without compromising on the quality of the deliverable.
  • Fluent French and English: written and spoken.
  • Must be resident in Switzerland with a valid work permit
