Your tasks
- Conceptual further development of our analytics core services as well as technological and procedural implementation
- Design and implementation of robust data structures and automated scalable data pipelines
- Supporting our software engineering teams in the transformation into product-specific features and collaboration in customer projects
- Development of statistical models and machine learning methods for information extraction, pattern recognition, classification and forecasting for large, structured and unstructured data sets
- Continuous validation and calibration of the analytical models and implementation of model benchmarks
- Development and implementation of procedure models for quality analysis and technical integration of new data sources. Ensuring consistency and data quality as well as responsibility for the data quality reports
your qualification
- Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, business mathematics, statistics, physics or a comparable subject
- First professional experience, ideally in the fields of data analytics or data science in the Big Data environment would be an advantage
- Sound knowledge of exploratory data analysis (including visualization), machine learning, statistics and related topics
- Confident handling of Python is required. Practical experience in using data analytics tools such as R and Jupyter is an advantage
- Practical experience with relational database technologies (e.g. PostGres) and excellent programming skills in SQL. Experience with graph databases (e.g. Neo4j) and NoSQL databases (e.g. Mongo) is an advantage
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills. You think in completely new directions and enjoy combining complex processes and innovative digitization concepts in new, powerful products and services
- Experience in supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment desirable
- Very good presentation and communication skills
- Proficient in German and English
