As a data engineer (male/female), you will be responsible for the further development of our cloud-based data platform and proactively help shape the business intelligence and analytics strategy.

• further develop the data architecture based on the Azure Analytics Services
• co-design and develop batch and real-time data pipelines and data models to ensure the correct provision and availability of data
• work together with different stakeholders to capture their requirements and implement them in the form of secure and value-added data solutions
• assume responsibility for the documentation, implementation, maintenance and support of data pipelines

requirement profile

• Completed degree in computer science or equivalent training/further education
• Several years of professional experience in a similar function, in which complex data pipelines with Apache Spark and components, preferably from the Azure Analytics Stack, were productively implemented
• Knowledge of the latest data architecture approaches such as data lakes and lakehouses
• excellent understanding of databases and query languages ​​(SQL)
• Good scripting and object-oriented programming skills (e.g. .NET, Python, Bash)
• Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
