The Honeywell Building Control Systems line of business in EMEA represents $500 million in revenue. It provides PLC solutions for automation applications in industry, buildings and infrastructure. It also provides new install and retrofit solutions for energy efficiency and comfort of the building environment, using controls for the optimisation of lighting, heating, cooling and ventilation systems for residential and commercial buildings.

What are we looking for?

We have an opportunity for a Software Engineer to join our innovative and friendly team on site in Givisiez, Switzerland. The software engineer will be working as part of an agile team to design and develop industry leading system engineering tools.

What will you be doing every day?

• Developing and maintain IDEs for programming PLC controllers

• Developing connected buildings services, applications and tools

• Building upon core platforms

• Work as part of a global team

What skills and requirements do you need?

• Knowledge of C#, the .Net Framework and/or C++

• A degree in Computer Science

• Creativity and ability to build sustainable solutions

• Good communication skills in English

A clear advantage would be

• Experience in developing Windows thick client applications

• Experience in working with agile methods
