Together with our agile development team, you provide data from a wide variety of source systems using Big Data technologies and thus provide the relevant information for the work of the BAZG.

Your tasks

Connect and integrate different data sources; develop, operate and optimize complex data processing pipelines
Analyze/develop new data sources including unstructured data formats (e.g. PDF, websites).
Create and document data models, collect and monitor data quality and develop suggestions for improvement
Implement/operationalize machine learning models and support data governance and security
Design, develop and maintain high-performance data storage including documentation, authorization management, monitoring and logging

Your profile

University degree in natural sciences, computer science, mathematics or a comparable course or relevant professional experience
Practical experience in Big Data technologies such as Apache Spark, S3 Object Stores, relational databases (preferably Postgres), Apache Nifi, Apache Airflow, Dremio, Ansible, Docker or Git and willing to acquire missing knowledge independently
Service-, solution- and team-oriented, resilient, self-reliant
Proficient in Python and SQL as well as practice with agile methods (Scrum, SAFe)
Good knowledge of two official languages and English
