Your tasks
The FHNW Institute for Data Science has a long and successful track record of conducting basic and applied research projects in the domains of machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and data management. We are looking for a research associate contributing to the development of a novel, deep learning-based method for cryptographically signing digital media. The successful applicant will work in a team with experienced machine learning and deep learning researchers and contribute to the goal of bringing a novel technology to the market. The tasks include:

  • integrate deep learning models into an operative application framework
  • possibly take part in our teaching activities
The position is initially limited to one year and may be extended to a maximum of five years.
Your profile
  • Master’s degree in data or computer science or equivalent professional experience, including substantial deep learning experience; a PhD would be a plus
  • strong interest in bringing a novel deep learning method to market
  • proven programming skills in Python and experience in data analysis and machine learning
  • motivation to work in a team with regular exchange and joint development
