Job Description

What it's about

The Business Applications Data Engineering is closely aligned with the business teams and responsible for the key applications to administrate, monitor and analyze Partners Group’s investment programs. It takes care of the development, customization and on-going enhancement of these applications to best support the global business operations of Partners Group.

Responsibilities:

  • Enhancement and development of data analytics related services using Java, Python, SQL and other technologies

  • Implement new business requirements in the core systems

  • Fulfil ad-hoc data reporting requests

  • Developing leading POCs to create break through solutions, performing exploratory and targeted data analyses

  • Support dashboard development and maintenance using data visualization software

What we expect

  • Strong Object Orientated Programming skills - Java /C++/Python

  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply or 2+ years of technology experience in a Quantitative Engineering/Development capacity.

  • Excellent record of academic achievement, ideally to MSc / PhD level, Computer Science or similar scientific, data centric or quantitative discipline

  • Logical and strong analytical skills

  • Experience of working with Agile development methodologies, particularly TDD, familiar with unit testing Junit

  • Demonstrated continuous learner who explores and recommend new technologies and paradigms to serve the needs of the business

  • Strong interpersonal skills which lend themselves to a team-oriented approach

  • Experience with AWS is desirable
