Your mission :
The Computer Vision Lab headed by Prof. P. Fua at EPFL in Lausanne is currently looking for an experienced Research Engineer to work on developing tools to model planes and drones from video sequences. If you are interested in being at the crossroad of Computer Vision, aeronautics, and biomedical imaging, this job is for you.Main duties and responsibilities include :

  • Build vision-based tools for 3D detection of obstacles such as power lines
  • Build vision-based tools for 3D modeling for human organs from medical imagery
  • Embed them into a software tool can be deployed

Your profile :

We’re looking for people who possess the following qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Computer Science
  • Python has no secrets for you
  • You are comfortable with using C/C++ whenever necessary
  • You have already worked with images
  • Some familiarity with Deep Learning would be a definite plus
