Project backgroundThe overall aim of MINAGRIS is to contribute to healthy soils in Europe by providing a deeper understanding and tools to assess the impact of Microplastic/nanoplastic in agricultural soils on biodiversity, plant productivity and ecosystem services and their disaggregation fate in the environment and provide recommendations for sustainable use of plastic in agriculture.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly-motivated candidate to join our interesting project. The candidate will help with the following tasks:
Coordination of the stakeholder activities and establishment of a harmonized monitoring plan across the case study sites in Europe.
Development of a database to store data collected in the field and laboratory experiments in a standardized and accessible format, data management and evaluation.
The successful candidate should have a strong research interest in Environmental pollution in general, and in microplastic/nanoplastic impact on Environmental in particular. Experience with a programming language and statistic skills is required. Applicants should hold a PhD degree in geosciences, environmental sciences, agricultural sciences, or disciplines related to the position. The candidate should have good knowledge of English and experience in writing of scientific papers, and participation in international conferences.
