What you’ll do
Technological surveillance on existing and new sensor technologies available for cell therapies.
Perform technological assessments internally or through collaborations with sensor technologies for biological sensing, process monitoring or equipment monitoring.
Generate data through proof of concept and hands-on experiments in the lab with cellular products.
Lead development activities on sensor technologies selected for integration into our product lines, spanning from development to manufacturing set with internal or external stakeholders.
Participate in establishing strategic roadmap linked to sensor technologies
Write technical documentation including investigation studies, test plan and design of experiment definition and verification and validation methodologies and execution.
Educate the team on this topic and spread awareness into the organization
Manage the product documentation throughout the Product Life Cycle Management
Work in a matrix organization with close collaboration with the engineering, product management, project management and biological teams among others
Mitigate project risks, deliver on-time, communicate effectively and resolve conflicts and encourage constructive dialogue in project teams
Ensure compliance with ISO13485, ISO9001 or GMP standards and other QMS requirement.
Who you are
University degree or equivalent in related scientific or engineering fields (physics, engineering, or life science), a PHD in life science instrumentation or similar is a plus.
5+ year work experience in R&D in the Life Sciences sector
Strong theoretical know-how in sensor technologies, such as NIR spectroscopy, electrical impedance spectroscopy or digital holographic microscopy for examples, and cell biology.
Proven experience in manipulating and using a broad range of sensor technologies interacting with chemical compound and/or live organisms
Must have a successful experience in developing feasibilities studies involving instrumentation, disposable kits and chemistry/biology elements.
Expertise in statistical methods for creation of sampling plans required to meet acceptance of technical specifications
Have a deep understanding of interface between instrumentation and cell manipulation processes
Ability to navigate in ambiguous situation and resolve issues on-time
Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate (oral, written) across global, cross-cultural, cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Knowledge and practical experience of relevant regulations (ISO 9001, ISO13485, cGMP), specifically for the US and European market
Fluent in English, a second language is a plus
