The Interfaculty Bioinformatics Unit of the University of Bern is a competence center for "Bioinformatics and Computational Biology" and provides – besides own research projects - expertise to help researchers with the planning, implementation and analysis of next generation sequencing (NGS) experiments. We collaborate on a wide range of projects in the life sciences and biomedical sciences. We run a High Performance Compute cluster used by researchers of UniBe and UniFr and also direct the "MSc in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology".
We are in search of a Bioinformatician/Computational Biologist 100%.
TasksYour responsibilities will include
genome or whole exome resequencing, metagenomics, de novo assembly
scRNA-seq, metagenomics, etc.)

RequirementsIdeally, you have a PhD in biology, bioinformatics or biostatistics and
