Product Management Administration - Components (m/f)

To support our Advanced Materials division, we are looking for a Product Management Administration - Components . The position is a full-time contract, based at our Advanced Materials European HQ in Basel, CH.

The primary responsibility of the role is to deliver value by executing an effective product portfolio management process for the Components portfolio. The Product Management Administration will be part of the Supply Chain organisation and act as key interface between Supply Chain and Production.

As Product Management Administration you will:

  • Execute the product portfolio management process covering innovation, management of change and product phase out for the components portfolio including industry specific requirements
  • Support innovation, new business development and quotations by providing production feasibility and product costing inputs for allocated portfolio
  • Identify and lead management of change and product phase out projects for allocated portfolio to protect and deliver additional value
  • Execute product related data management in SAP
  • Collaborate with multiple functions within the organisation (Sales, Supply Chain, Production etc.) to achieve alignments and drive business improvements
  • Ensure that all activities are in line with Environment, Health and Safety principles, Ethics & Compliance and International Trade Compliance guidelines

Requirements :

  • Business or technical degree or equivalent with at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar function
  • Experience in manufacturing, commercial, production or technical support is an asset
  • Strong analytical, reporting and synthesis skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to pass clear and compelling messages at all level within the organisation
  • Sound change management and interpersonal skills
  • Effective oral and written English skills, any other language is beneficial
