Job Description

To join a prestigious FinTech company with a significant growth over the last few years, we are looking for a Business analyst/Project Manager with experience in the financial industry (FinTech, Asset management) as well Big Data. This key role within the company will report directly to the Head of IT.

Your responsibilities:
Definition of the project timelines, scope, roadmaps, accomplishments, issues, and risks.
Work closely with project stakeholders, including the IT department and the company customers, to collect user specifications and develop comprehensive requirement documents.
Collaborate with business users on UAT execution
Defect resolution with the application development team
Provide users with training and workshops
Understand the technology and its meaning while bridging the gap between the business and IT.
Review Best Practice Procedure for the company and ensure the team follows it for all projects.

Skills and experience desired

Strong Project Management experience, ideally with business analysis experience and hands-on delivery of major change/transformation programs.
Experience in Agile delivery (Backlogs, Prioritization, Sprint coordination).
Proven ability to schedule, steer and organize day-to-day activities of running projects
that are part of a larger program.
Experience in Fintech, asset management or banking industry
Big Data experience would be a huge bonus

Profile

Degree in either IT, Business, Finance or Engineering
3 to 10 years of experience in a similar role
Fluency in English (French and other languages an asset)
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Consultative and effective management of senior clients/ stakeholders
Ability to collaborate through organizational functions.
Proactiveness attitude in reporting issues and solutions oriented with the ability to deliver tasks in an agreed timeline.
A PMP or PMI-ACP certifications would be a plus.
Motivated, rigorous but pragmatic, with the ambition to put your knowledge to the contribution of growth of the company
Willingness to learn new approaches around risk services and to collaborate with business users and developers.
