Business Intelligence Data Analyst - Banking sector

On behalf of our important Client, an historical and first-class Bank, we are currently looking for a
Business Intelligence Data Analyst
in order to strengthen its structure.
Her/His main tasks and responsibilities will be linked (but not limited) to:
Analyse business requirements, design and implement dashboards and reporting with BI tools.
Support the business line with ad-hoc data extractions and analysis.
Ability to extract and integrate large datasets from multiple sources (DWH, operational systems, datafiles…).
Optimize and automate data preparation processes.
Promote and support self-BI adoption throughout the company.
Present findings, key reports and analysis to the senior management

Functie-eisen

Higher education degree in subjects including advanced statistics/computer science.
Strong background working with relational databases such as Oracle, advanced SQL knowledge is required.
Knowledge of the DWH dimensional data model (data marts)
Strong knowledge of the programming language Python (including libraries pandas and numpy) for data wrangling and analytical purposes.
Specific working experience developing and deploying dashboards with the PowerBI platform.
Knowledge of the software SPSS Statistics is an advantage.
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
Working experience in the financial industry is an advantage.
Strong communication skills, fluent in italian and english.
