The Laboratory for Data Security (LDS) led by Prof. JP Hubaux is highly committed to data protection and in particular to the protection of health and genomic data. The lab is heavily involved in initiatives at the Swiss level, including the Data Protection in Personalized Health (DPPH) project, and at the international level, including the Secure Covid Research and HomomorphicEncryption.org initiatives, and is developing secure medical tools such as MedCo, efficient homomorphic cryptographic libraries such as Lattigo, and secure machine learning frameworks such as SPINDLE and POSEIDON.
As one of the highest-ranked technology institutes internationally, EPFL offers a thriving intellectual environment and outstanding facilities. The lab workforce comprises five software engineers, five PhD students, two post-doctoral researchers, and one faculty member. The lab is affiliated with the Center for Digital Trust (C4DT).

Your mission :
As a hands-on technical specialist, the front-end software developer will contribute to ongoing software developments of the Laboratory for Data Security (LDS), related to secure data sharing in highly sensitive application domains. The candidate will interact with our team and with our industrial partners, and will work mainly on the user interfaces of systems such as MedCo, SPINDLE and POSEIDON.
