Job Description

At Nomoko we want to unlock the power of Digital Twins, one industry at a time. Our first industry is Property Technology (PropTech), and for that we are developing a browser-based app to enable property investors to more easily identify and analyze real estate opportunities.

We are looking for a Frontend Developer to complement our agile web development team working full-time in our main office in Zurich or remotely from a European country.


Being a frontend developer at Nomoko means helping with everything related to visualizing our data which we ingest from various sources as well as our 3D captured data. Also, you will be responsible for the development of our website when the need arises.

Your responsibilities in a nutshell:

  • Working with spatial data
  • Working with RESTful APIs
  • Creating test code
  • Visualizing 2D and 3D data
  • Integrating, testing and deploying web applications
  • Creating documentation and supporting artefacts.
  • Creating a Storybook for React


Required skills:

  • 2+ years of experience as a frontend web developer
  • Ability to work independently: You have led and successfully released several web applications and website frontends.
  • Significant experience with the following technologies:

Frontend: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, 3D (Web GL);
CI/CD: Gitlab/ Github

  • Some experience with Node, NPM, Webpack or similar
  • Some experience with CMS and the integration of external services, e. g. CRM
  • Experience with SEO optimization
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
  • Excellent verbal & written skills in English

Nice to have:

  • High affinity towards design and UX
  • Experience with agile working methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with geo-spatial application development platforms (Mapbox, Cesium and Esri) and/or GIS tools (ArcGIS or similar)
