JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT

The Accounting and Finance Analyst will deliver financial analysis input for business decision making and performance improvement opportunities to support business growth. In this role, you will contribute to the continuous process improvement on management reporting, report standardization and rationalization.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Financial and management reporting :
Preparation of monthly financial reporting and monthly financial statements of 1 or several ledgers.
Supervision and review of activities performed by finance shared services in India (balance sheet reconciliation, month-end reporting, review of performance metrics…).
Works with peers in Accounting and Finance for accurate financial information and data (e.g., historical reporting, data collection, cost accounting, margin reporting, analysis of data and management reports, management reports generation, etc.).

Financial Control :
Support and execute on controls framework initiatives rolled out by the Controls domain.
Support internal and external audits and compliance reviews.

Continuous improvement and Others miscellaneous project :
Involved as finance Subject Matter expert in business application testing and different business projects.
Participates in and support efforts to identify and applies process simplification, standardization and improvement.
Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Advanced data analytical skills using current spreadsheet or business intelligence tools.
Experience in working with multiple businesses or international businesses.
Experience in leveraging financial and business systems to monitor business activities and aid in decision making.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or other Business-related degrees.
Minimum 5 years of accounting or finance experience, if possible, in trading environment
Accounting experience with good technical knowledge in US GAAP- Understanding of CFR reporting and compliances.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Demonstrates high degree of curiosity. Invest time and energy into learning. Seeks different points of view and perspectives (internal and external).
Ability to communicate, influence and build trust across multiple stakeholder groups
Ability to partner and engage with centers of expertise e.g. Tax, CFR, Audit, IT, business
Ability to work in independent manner
Manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and able to work to deadlines.
Fluent English, written and spoken
Advanced knowledge of Excel and visualization tools like power BI or Tableau
