About this opportunityAlign is continuously leveraging digital advancements to enhance the experience of our Doctors and their patients. We are looking for an experienced Program Manager with a proven record of accomplishment in delivering digital transformation to lead key initiatives leveraging technology to transform these experiences. You will oversee all aspects of programs/projects’ delivery as well as leading the change management to adopt to new working practices.Realising the benefits and opportunities this programme will create is fundamental to the success of leveraging our digital ambition. The Program Manager directs a virtual cross-functional team. The position drives clarity by defining and prioritizing the program objectives, critical success factors and deliverables for the team. Additionally, the Program Manager will motivate the team and drives a sense of urgency on meeting program commitments. As part of the Program Leadership Team, the Program Manager will lead across the workstream teams to define and deliver quality outcomes of the program scope.
In this role, you will…

  • Lead across business functions to establish a clear vision of the end-to-end value stream and identify the full potential and required outcomes of digital transformation
  • Lead effective change management initiatives to prepare the business to integrate changes and realise the benefits of the transformation
  • Establish a rigorous program governance model to enable the effective management of strategic decision-making and tactical execution of the programs objectives including alignment and communication across the Steering Committee and Program Team.
  • Implement and manage an integrated project plan outlining the cross-functional dependencies, success factors and core deliverables, monitoring and controlling risk and provide clear picture of progress and success
  • Establish and implement mechanisms to enable the adoption of new operational activities and measure the impacts of the transformations
  • Exercise hands-on risk and issue management: identify and escalate issues, propose solutions and implement optimal solutions.
  • Coach, mentor and motivate project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work

In this role, you’ll need …

  • 5-10 years of experience in Project Management including 5+ years’ leading complex transformative programs/projects
  • Must be able to demonstrate a proven record of delivering digital transformation across business and customer facing activities
  • Experience in both driving software development and commercial deployment projects is a must. Experience in medical devices industry preferred but not essential.
  • Strong business acumen. Proven record of accomplishment of working with cross-functional teams including software development, marketing, sales, legal, and regulatory. Experience working with C-level executives is a must.
  • Demonstrable strong stakeholder management skill-set is essential to succeed in this position.
  • Strategic planner and thinker, demonstrating problem solving ability and results orientation
  • Waterfall or agile project management certification (Prince2 Practitioner, PMP, Scrum Master) strongly preferred but not essential for the role if the right experience can be demonstrated.
  • Highly proficient in English;
