Job Description

Location: Geneva, Switzerland

Key Responsibilities:
Assist our transition towards Industry 4.0 implementing state-of-the-art analytical tools

Understand the operations strategy and define key metrics to support it

Identify relevant data sources and define new data collection points

Develop new data quality and data collection strategies for our multiple global sites

Closely collaborate with Information Services to perform data extractions from various sources

Translate real-world problems into an appropriate quantitative context and develop statistical/mathematical models (e.g. machine learning) that solve these questions

Utilize lean-six sigma framework to assist our continuous improvement teams solve complex problems with advanced analytics techniques

Make use of simulation software to test line efficiency improvements

Present findings with compelling data visualizations and storytelling to drive change

Develop new data reporting tools and coordinate their adoption

Communicate relevant findings to senior management

We value:
A Bachelor of Science, preferably Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management.

Master’s degree in Data science or Analytics.

Familiarity with statistical, data-mining and data-visualization techniques.

SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases

Strong knowledge of programming languages, with a focus on machine learning and advanced analytics (such as R, Python, and Scala).

Experience using computer simulation in complex manufacturing systems.

Solid knowledge in SAP ERP systems; consultant certification is preferred.

Previous experience in Lean Six Sigma projects.

Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in Manufacturing Site Operations and good supply chain understanding is required.

Proven experience in the fragrance and flavors industry.

Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively and excellent listening skills

Ability to guide case teams on appropriate tool usage and analyses.

An excellent command of English and French; Spanish is a plus
