Job Description

On behalf of our client, a global Bank, Swisslinx is looking for an experienced Digital Solutions Engineer/Architect for an initial 6 month contract with the possibility of extension/internalization in Zurich, Switzerland. You will be joining our clients Digital Platforms and Marketing & Distribution IT team in CH/EMEA/APAC.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Architecture design and execution
  • Technical Delivery across AM Digital Streams
  • Technical Excellence with a view to nurture and enforce good engineering practices, build up further technical skillset and exploit innovation opportunities
  • Architectural challenges in architecting and implementing new Digital Channels for Asset Management
  • Ability to work in wide variety of architecture, development and security topics
  • Structuring and presenting complex architectural ideas or frameworks to a variety of stakeholders


Your Background:

  • Experienced Software Engineer with practical expertise in Software Architecture within Digital landscapes (min 5 years)
  • Strong experience with front-end technologies and frameworks (HTML 5, HTL, ReactJS, Vue, CSS, JSON, Bootstrap etc.)
  • Strong experience in integration through REST or SOAP API’s, microservices, and other SOA patterns for multi-channel environments
  • Expertise on developing secure web solutions and addressing security architecture topics
  • Experience with UX/Design frameworks, patterns and relevant technologies/tooling
  • Experience on Unit testing frameworks
  • Good exposure on Java
  • Exposure in Architecting on premise and cloud based solutions across required layers (Infrastructure/Data/Services etc.)
  • Familiar with software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) using JIRA, Git and DevOps practices
  • Able to drive state of the art software engineering best practices within internal or vendor teams
