Job Description

Position overview:

The Senior Pricing Analyst is a key member of the Terex AWP Global Pricing team who will support the Terex financial objectives while maintaining a competitive position in the marketplace through current and future pricing strategic initiatives. These include the deployment of common tools and processes, the development of proactive analytics and the execution of segmentation and price-value differentiation strategies.

The role reports to the Director of Pricing and Product Management and is a very exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and passionate Sales Operations team.

Main duties will include

  • Document and participate in the development and improvement of global processes, policies and tools
  • Lead a cross-functional internal team to develop and implement an advanced CPQ tool
  • Partner with the sales team to identify opportunities to optimize sales and profitability through pricing strategies
  • Analyze reports to demonstrate pricing trends and provide insights for senior management
  • Partner with product management in setting list prices for new products
  • Provide pricing guidance to optimize the product portfolio and customer segmentations strategies
  • Lead the European deal desk and provide recommendation to sales and senior management
  • Act as resource for all pricing related inquiries

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in quantitative field (Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Finance, ...)
  • Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in product management, sales or pricing function
  • First successful experience in pricing in manufacturing mandatory

Key skills and attributes will include

  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Display commercial acumen and have a customer centric attitude
  • Strong aptitude for math, and understanding and analyzing large amounts of data from multiple sources
  • Able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
  • Good time management and prioritization skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (in particular Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Good initiative to follow up on and resolve issues
  • Ability to relate well to a wide variety of people
  • Ability to work independently and in a virtual team environment
