What You Will Do:
The incumbent will drive the implementation of various business development projects to enable growth of the Biological business. Propose/implement strategy & portfolio for Biologicals in the region, including scouting and accessing disruptive Biological technologies/ approaches.

Biologicals Business Development strategy:
Develops and implements the Biological strategy across the business units within the assigned region in alignment with the global strategic directions
Drive biological sales by actively engaging and supporting the BUs in their needs related to Biological portfolio/technology access, market intelligence know-how and industry relationships.
Works closely with the BU marketing, Regional Portfolio, and Global PM functions to identify licensing opportunities, targets for R&D and commercial collaborations and/or M&A
Develop processes, criteria and approach for the evaluation of business opportunities and drives the assessment for selected (global or regional) projects
Builds and maintains long-lasting relationships with key Biological customers and collaboration partners while strongly connects to the biological “ecosystem”
Drive mindset change within the SYT organization by actively advocating for the need of Biological controls and IPM approach to drive sustainability.

Portfolio expansion and technology scouting:
Build regional biological portfolio via scouting and communication into/out-of existing global biologicals evaluation platform (BORT)
Leads identified growth projects in its region, in collaboration with the local sales and marketing team

Biological M&A integration leadership:
Drives post M&A integration initiatives as well as develop acquired sales staff capabilities in Biocontrol
Works closely with the BUs on business model and GTM improvements for Biologicals
Prepares business cases to support the collaboration with or the acquisition of a selected company

You Have:
Bachelor’s degree or higher
5+ years of business and marketing management in Crop Protection markets, preferably experience with Biologicals
Business development experience

You Might Also Have:
Understanding of biological technology and markets
Knowledge of agribusiness markets, crop protection industry and customer needs
Ability to scout for technologies and enabling access to 3rd parties
Ability to influence indirect relationships throughout the global business
Ability to create compelling strategic and operations plans
Proven track record of developing businesses in complex and demanding environments
Experience drafting/negotiating agreements with 3rd parties
