We are currently looking to recruit an Operation Room Specialist / Jr. Account Manager. We are looking for a talented and motivated individual who will be responsible for driving our clinical initiatives for our focus products in Austria & Switzerland and would be interested to develop into a sales role in the future. This role will report into Sales & Marketing Director CHAT for the Cardinal Health Medical Solutions business. Good knowledge of the OR environment and workflow is key, whilst open collaboration and working as part of a team is a main driver for success along with an enthusiastic and positive attitude. Excellent organizational and communication skills are required along with strong computer skills. A good level of German, English and French language skills are of advantage.

Primary responsibilities include training of clinical staff, preparation of product conversions, collaborating with marketing and the sales team to work on projects across Austria and Switzerland. You are required to travel 60-70% of your time.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Reach revenue and growth target with existing and new customers on focus products
  • Acquisition of new customers in close collaboration with the sales team
  • Increase revenue with existing customers through introduction of new products in collaboration with the sale steam
  • Develop a strategic plan for focus products in collaboration with marketing and sales & marketing director CHAT, Maintain account plans, customer contact details, review territory plans on a frequent basis
  • Training of clinical staff on focus products
  • Build a network to clinical stakeholders to become an expert and trusted partner for operating room related questions
  • Ongoing analytics (quarterly, annual) of customer data to track conversion and expansion
  • Collect and analyze market relevant data and trends and share it proactively with the team
  • Participation in internal and external meetings & congresses
  • Close collaboration with European colleagues

Qualifications & experience

  • Strong customer focus and ability to build sustainable customer relationships
  • 2-3 years professional experience in hospital/ operating room environment is preferred; medical device industry is a plus
  • Basic understanding of the health care market and reimbursement in Austria and/or Switzerland
  • Very good knowledge of German as well as good English skills (both spoken and written). French is a plus.
  • Skilled in MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Fast comprehension, structured and high degree of readiness to learn and perform
  • Pro-active and analytic thinking, big picture view
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexible, motivated and open team player with ‘can do’ personality
